What is CSCS Labourer’s Green Card?
CSCS is the leading Construction Skills Certification Scheme within the UK construction industry to ensure safety standards are high and maintained within the construction industry in the UK.  CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training in Construction Health and Safety awareness for the type of work they carry out.

Steps To Get Your Green Card

Step One: Since the 1st of July 2014 to apply for the New CSCS Green Labourer Card candidates need to do the New Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment Course. After completing the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment Course and passing the exam with us, you will be awarded a certificate from our Awarding Body.

Step Two: Apply For your Green Card through the CITB website.  

On applying for your Green Card CITB have their own Health, Safety, and Environment Test in one of their test centre. (please refer to their website for pricing). Ideal for anyone who wishes to work on a construction site as a labourer or a security officer, slinger, signaler, cleaner, etc. The Scheme keeps a database of people working in the construction industry who are qualified.   CSCS is a not-for-profit limited company. Its directors are from employer organisations and unions representing the breadth of the industry.

The Scheme’s application processing and contact centre are delivered under contract by Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).    Cost: £95.00 (Please note the cost is only to do Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment Course with us)
