Who are the Course and Exam for?
The Personal licence Course qualification aim is to provide individuals with essential knowledge of the legal framework surrounding the sale of alcohol in England and Wales. You will receive an APLH Level 2 Accredited Certificate once the exam is passed. The Alcohol Personal Licence Course and Examination to Sell Alcohol includes key information on the responsibilities of personal licence holders, duties of the designated premises supervisor, the role of licensing authorities, and police powers regarding licensed premises.
What does it cover?

This qualification is regulated by both Ofqual and the Home Office and has been designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003. Furthermore, whilst comprehensively covering the full framework as set down by the Government, this qualification is extremely straightforward, It also provides excellent value for money.
Achievement of this qualification forms an essential part of the personal licence application and enables those selling or authorising alcohol sales to operate both legally and responsibly. How long does the course take? The course lasts about 6-8 hours (1 day) and is conducted by a qualified instructor.
Each module is concluded with a test involving a series of multiple-choice questions that are meant to evaluate the progress of the learners. This lets us maintain a hands-on approach to the learning capacity of our learners, letting us keep up the good quality of our course. Following completion of the course, you will be invited to a paper-based multiple-choice exam.
You will receive the results within 5 working days. Once the exam is passed, you will receive the APLH Level 2 Accredited Certificate. Submit an application for the Personal Licence to the Local Authorities
